DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Part-time 10 hours a week EST)
This remote professional will be responsible for creating high-quality videos by assembling raw footage, applying edits, and ensuring that the final products are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with the project’s goals. The Video Editor will collaborate with Chris and his wife to ensure the final product meets project objectives and aligns with the brand’s aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on compiling and editing clips/videos from native content produced by the client
- Convert long explainer videos into shorter clips without compromising the overall content and quality
- Ensure videos are compatible and ready for various social media platforms (Facebook Reels and YouTube)
- Coordinate with Chris and his wife to streamline ideas and recommendations
- Create branded, engaging videos in line with the goals of the promotional materials
Success Metrics:
- Timely communication and reasonable turnaround time for revisions
- Timely and high-quality production of final videos
- Effective coordination with the content manager/supervisor/Founder throughout the multimedia production process
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a video editor
- Hands-on experience with editing software (Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premiere Pro)
- Proficient in editing, graphic, and special effects video software
- A keen eye, attention to detail, and artistic ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Offer:
- $264 monthly
- $275 monthly after 6 months (plus activation of benefits)
