OUR CORE VALUES

1. Integrity

Our first and highest core value is integrity. We are honest, we operate with the best intentions, we want the highest good for our teammates, our customers, our community, and the public. We are the kind of people who, at the end of the day, look at the mirror and feel confident that we operated with full integrity, and were motivated by the highest good.

2. Accuracy + Efficiency

We work towards accuracy and efficiency. We take extra effort to save time – the only resource we can’t get back – as a form of respect to our teammates and our customers.

3. Kaizen = Continuous Improvement

We are on an endless mission to improve ourselves, and we recognize that every day is a chance to do so. We strive for excellence, we are driven by the zest of learning, and living up to our highest potential.

4. High Level of Accountability

We don’t count our work by the hours. We count it when the job is done. We do what it takes: late nights, weekends, and holidays, too. We take jobs that are below and above our pay grade. When the restaurant is busy, the manager is happy to wash the dishes. We take pride in our work, mission, and the purpose behind it all. We strive to be great stewards of what is entrusted to us.

5. Love and Protect the Customer

We exercise pure love, care, and protection to our customers. When we serve them, we hold their best interests at heart, and provide solutions proactively, with high standards in place. We treat their business like it’s our business.

6. Love and Protect your Teammates

We exercise pure love, care, and protection to our teammates. We listen to them, give meaningful feedback, help them towards a goal, and hold their growth and best potential at heart.

  1. Winners, not whiners
  2. Be kind
  3. Be reasonable
  4. Frugality, smart and resourcefulness
  5. Data-driven decisions: Empirical, accurate, meritocratic
  6. Honesty is still the best policy
  7. Hire and develop the best
  8. Spirit of gratitude
  9. Bring positive energy
  10. Purpose > Ego

SALARIES

Before your first day of work, an auto-pay link is sent out that reflects your “all-in salary” to the client. This includes the Proximity Outsourcing monthly service fee, benefits, and allowance for all the transfers needed. For context, your salary has to go through two different payment processors, and then to our local bank. To make everything uniform, we will follow the official Paypal conversion (as it is reflected a few days before your salary day). Salaries are transferred straight to your account every 30th and 15th of the month (we follow US PACIFIC time). Sometimes they might be a little early or late by 1-2 days because we are avoiding app/website errors and we want to make sure we have an allowance.

NOTE: The salary for the payroll covering a 2- week period shall be remitted on the following cut-off.

After 90 days of being hired, you have the opportunity to claim your salary once a month. If you prefer to receive it during the 15th, note that the payments issued will cover a courtesy cash advance so it will have to be requested and approved accordingly. After your initial probation period of 90 days, you are also allowed to request a loan assistance equivalent to two weeks of your salary in times of emergency. Note that this will undergo a special request and approval from both Proximity and your client.

BENEFITS

After 90 days of being hired, you get to enjoy the following benefits and bonuses:

  • Insurance + telemedicine (renewed yearly)
  • Mental health counseling session with a board certified counselor or therapist (2x a year – one
    routine, one SOS)
  • Financial health planning session with a financial planner (1x a year)
  • Upskilling and personal development seminars
  • Paperwork assistance for visa, car loans, home loans, etc.
  • Free legal advice and assistance (initial consultation)
  • Birthday gift & Christmas gift
  • Company-wide events and employee engagement activities
